Welcome to the Missouri Paralegal Association website!

The Missouri Paralegal Association is your local, Midwest, professional organization designed to support, educate, and advance the paralegal profession.

It is the mission of the Missouri Paralegal Association to advance the paralegal profession. This includes networking, collaboration, continuing education, involvement in our national association and their platforms, encouraging and mentoring paralegal students, and educating the public at large as to the value of paralegals, our limitations, and our mission of increasing access to justice and value for clients and employers.

We are local - in both urban and rural areas of Missouri. We live or work in all areas of law and for all types of employers (plaintiff firms, defense firms, government, corporate, freelance). We live or work in Missouri (or other regional areas) and understand the unique dynamics of our state. Most of our events are conducted virtually, so as to include as many participants as possible. We look forward to partnering with you as well!

Did you know we offer a FREE Job Bank for prospective employers? Soon, you will be able to submit your openings online and all MPA members will be able to see your confidential details. MPA strives to support the professional growth of the individual paralegal and increase knowledge of the profession by the general public, judiciary and legal community by:

• Developing and maintaining exceptional standards of education, ethical responsibility and professionalism within the paralegal profession;
• Providing empowerment for Missouri paralegals through a unified voice;
• Promoting the self-governance of the paralegal profession; and
• Participating in, fostering and advancing the paralegal profession at the local, state, national and international levels.
